TENSES

There are mainly 3 tenses
1. Present tense
2. Past tenses
3. future tense

for each tense there will be simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous sentences.

Common in nature

1. No simple sentences have auxiliaries or in another sense it might be hidden.
2. Every continuous sentences, the verb will be in ING form. eg working, learning, playing etc
3. In perfect sentences, the verb will have its third form (v3) i.e.past participle
4. In perfect continuous sentences, as we see in the name itself, it is a mix of 2 & 3. So it will have similarity with those sentences.

So lets check how to make sentences easily,

Basic rules to create sentences 

Simple Present 

subject + verb (v1)

point to be remembered - if the subject is he/she/it, we should add  s/es with verb accordingly.

Eg. He works

       They work

       I work

Present continuous tense

subject + is/are/ am + V1+ ing

Eg; He is working 

       They are working

       I am working

Present perfect tense

subject + has/have + V3

Eg: He has worked

       I have worked

       They have worked

Present perfect continuous

subject + has/have +been + V1 +ing

Eg: He has been working

       They have been working

        I have been working.

Simple past 

subject + V2

Eg: He worked

       They worked

        I worked

Past continuous 

subject + was/ were + V1 + ing

Eg: he was working

       they were working 

       I was working

Past perfect

subject + had+ V3

Eg: he had worked

      they had worked

      I had worked

Past perfect continuous

subject + had+ been+ V1 + ing

Eg: he had been working

       they had been working

       I had been working

Simple future

subject + will/shall+ V1 

Eg: he will work

      they will work

      

Future continuous

subject + will/shall+be +V1 +ing

Eg: he will be working 

      they will be working

Future perfect 

subject + will/shall+ have + V3

Eg: he will have worked

      they will have worked

Future perfect continuous

subject + will/shall + have + been+ V1 + ing

Eg: he will have been working

       they will have been working
